I simply used the data from the Keller ISD Check Register and Pay Scales for the school year (fiscal year) which ends in June every year.  For example, I only used paid invoices, so any invoices from the 2024-2025 school year that were not paid by the end of June would fall under the 2025-2026 school year.  Additionally, I only used complete school years to assess the actual cost.  If Bigbee worked a few months into the 2023-2024 school year it wouldn't make sense to use that time when we want to make apple to apple comparisons.  For this project since this was Tim Davis 3rd full year it was best to compare his first 3 years to Bigbee's last 3 years.  NO MORE / NO LESS  

Inside counsel positions are not capable of handling lawsuits to the district.  They rarely have the expertise and never have the capacity / capability to handle the massive amount of work that is needed to properly defend the district against significant legal action.  So that is why I say the expense of the lawsuit would have been carried by inside (Bigbee) or outside (Tim Davis) counsel.  Lawsuit cost don't help us determine who is more cost effective on a long term basis.
